I have been sewing and crafting for years and years. I found my first creative outlet by selling my handmade jewelry out of my backpack on Dead tour. My very cool parents would let me skip school during Fall Tour to see Jerry & the boys as long as I didn't travel too far. ;) Summer tour was a different story. hehe
I started sewing about 7 years ago. I had a cheap machine, no serger and even worse..no knowledge. Through much patience and frustration, I slowly taught myself everything I know...with the occasional call to Mom. ;) Some of my first dresses were kinda mishapen and unprofessional to say the least. hehe I stuck with it and here I am today...fully addicted to sewing and crafting.
Each piece I make is totally unique and special. I put alot of energy and love into every stitch, which I why I never duplicate anything. Details are very important to me. I now have a Bernina sewing machine, a Bernina Deco Embroidery machine and a Singer serger. I love, love, love my Berninas! They makes creating even more fun! :)
My creative outlet is also my livlihood. I have 4 kiddos and a hard workin husband. This site enables me to do my share and be home with my little ones. :) I love my life and feel so lucky to be sharing it with my great family.
